Patients with a TMJ disorder often experience one or more of the following TMJ related symptoms:
– Headaches or migraines
– Jaw Pain or a tight jaw
– Sounds from the jaw joint such as clicking, popping or grating
– Problems with the jaw such as difficulty opening or closing the jaw
– Pain while chewing food or difficulty swallowing
– Problems with the ears such as an earache, ringing in the ears or congestion
– Dizziness
– Pain behind the eyes
– Pain in the neck or throat
– Facial Pain
– A challenge closing the teeth together
– Tenderness of the scalp
– Clenching or grinding teeth
– Sleep disorders such as snoring or sleep apnea
